“This Was About More Than Just Photos.”

Athena travelled from Darwin to Queensland not because she wanted glamorous photos for Instagram…

but because she was actively working on herself in a much deeper way.

In her application, she wrote:

“I genuinely want to grow as a person and invest in my self-development.”

And honestly, that intention shaped her entire experience.

Because for Athena, this wasn’t simply about how she looked.

The photoshoot simply became part of that journey.

Athena works in an incredibly emotionally demanding role, helping people experiencing homelessness access Medicare support and essential services.

Every day, she supports vulnerable people navigating hardship, instability and survival.
